Application and Tuition

DSC_0306_2 Thank you for your interest in the Now & Next Dance Mentoring Project. The success of this program relies on recruiting a strong group of college dancers and recent college graduates. We know the importance of building a network and community as you enter the profession and each year we bring together a talented group of young artists.

Our tuition is staggered based on when you apply and commit to joining a project. We offer scholarships and tuition discounts to students attending multiple projects in the same summer, and for alumnae.

Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis and qualified students will be accepted and notified promptly. Students are strongly encouraged to apply early as we limit the size of each program to ensure maximum individual attention.

TO APPLY: In addition to the form below, applicants must submit a $50 application fee via paypal, [here.] This deposit will be refunded if a student is not accepted. It is non-refundable for accepted students, but is applied to the total tuition balance.

Early bird tuition: $325 for applications submitted by April 1. Partial scholarships are available. Dancers needing scholarship support should apply by March 15 and contact the program directly to discuss scholarship options.

Right on time tuition: $350 for applications submitted by May 1.

After May 1: applications are accepted on a rolling basis.

Scholarships: We have limited scholarship funding available. To be considered for a scholarship you must apply by the March 15 deadline. Please indicate on your application that you will be applying for scholarship support and, if accepted, we will send you additional information. UPDATE: we are still accepting scholarship applications on a case-by-case basis.

Tuition discounts for students who attend multiple projects: $50 off your second project, and $100 off your third project.

Alumnae discounts are offered at case-by-case, please contact us.

Housing (not including meals): $250/week shared accommodations. In Boone, housing is in apartment style dorms; in other locations out of town students will share hotel rooms in the same hotel as the faculty mentors.

Scholarships: Many dance departments offer scholarships for students. If you are applying for department funding, please let us know. We can provide you with a letter of support to your department. If you are interested in applying for a scholarship from the program, please pre-register and contact us for more information. We strive to keep our tuition costs low, and because of that our scholarship funds are limited.

We suggest you limit short answer responses to approximately 100 words.
