Now Next Dance/Moving Mentoring combines dance training, game design, and leadership skills in a fun, energizing, empowering workshop. Young Dancers are taught by a professional arts faculty and are mentored by 1:1 by college-age Dance Mentors enrolled in our teacher training program. We are organized around the themes of Action, Support, Curiosity, Challenge, and Resilience with a dance and leadership component to each and a performance at the end of the week. Dancers of all experience levels are welcome, as we explore contemporary dance movement vocabulary and collaborative choreography. Dancers will increase their strength, flexibility, and rhythm while working on self-confidence and interpersonal skills. Our exceptional program design creates a special experience for each dancer.
